Isiala Mbano born US based Ex-Military Officer hosts Journalists at home

The Country home of a US based Ex-Military Officer, Chief Achumba Golden in Okpala, Ikwuano Autonomous Community, Osu clan, Isiala Mbano local Government Area of Imo State was enveloped with funfair on Wednesday 3rd January,2024, as Journalists paid him a courtesy visit.

Journalists under the Auspices of Mbano Journalists Association (MJA) who were at his(Achumba) Mansion on a familiarization visit to thinker a way forward for Mbano nation towards the social and economic development of the area.

The Association used the occasion to Honour their Champion as the “Most outstanding Philanthropist of the Year 2023”.

Presenting the award, the Chairman of the Association Comrade Kelechi Uzoma noted that the award was meritoriously deserving, adding that the award has been of immense benefit to the society given the nobility of the Association and accomplishments of the recipient over the years.

In his remarks, the recipient, Chief Achumba Golden appreciated the Organization for the conference, saying that he is at home to make presence because according to him, home is the best.

He said: “I am doing whatever I can do to get my presence at home. “I am not the type that go oversea and forget themselves. You can see that I am at home with my kinsmen. “If I don’t come back, a lot of people here will not be happy”.

He reminisced his travail in life, saying that nobody gives what he does not have.

He said: “I will continue to do good as God permits me because it is nice to be good. “Money exposes one’s character. “Nobody hides character. It is inborn”.

He therefore lauded Mbano Journalists for their hard work and resilience in carrying out there daily task.
