Uzoagba league of Elites host member as new CP

It was a joyous moment as the members of Uzoagba league of Elites (ULE), Uzoagba in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State hosted their member and brother, DCP Ukachi Peter Opara, the Deputy Force Secretary (1) in celebration of his recent promotion to the rank of Commissioner of Police.

The dinner party which took place at “The Godfathers Lounge, New Owerri, Imo State during the weekend attracted dignitaries from all works of life.

Before his redeployment, Opara was the Deputy Commissioner of Police(Admin), in Imo State and hails from Uzoagba Ancient Kingdom.

Speaking at the event, Chief Denis Ejike Okwu popularly known as “Sweet Apple” expressed joy over the promotion, saying Uzoagba is glad at having their son for attaining the position of Commissioner in Police ranking.

Okwu pointed out that it was a dint of hard work and commitment to service that earned him such position.

According to him, we thank God that our brother, a member of this club, the mouthpiece of Uzoagba was recently promoted to the rank of Commissioner of Police and we are here to rejoice with him. It is an honour and privilege to have him as our brother

Continuing, Chief Okwu expressed appreciation to one of them, Chief Emmanuel Eneremadu (Monte) for his Magnanimity in sponsoring the event.

In the same vein, Chief Emmanuel Eneremadu, the CEO of Burubia Group of Companies who expressed Confidence in the new CP said better days are in view.

He noted that as a Commissioner of Police at much younger age is advantageous for future appointments.

Chief Eneremadu, the Nwachinawaraji 1 of Uzoagba Ancient Kingdom described him as a man with capacity and Intellectual property.

Meanwhile, a close Associate of the New CP, Hon. Celestine Onyeka, the Sole Administrator (SOLAD) Oru East Local Government Area described Mr Peter Opara as a kind and amiable person who understands the spirit of comradeship

In his remarks, CP Ukachi Peter Opara thanked his people for organizing such event to honour him.
He lauded the commitments of the members of Uzoagba league of Friends in projecting the Community to higher standard.

He said,”I am very proud of you and I will continue to support your cause in all instances.
