Ex- Uzodimma’s Aide, Nze Nwaneri, Ezeanochie, 3 others cool off in Police Net over alleged fraudulent activities

The Imo State Police Command has confirmed the arrest and detention of a former Special Adviser to Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma on Special duties, Nze Chinasa Nwaneri and the President of Imo State Amalgamated Markets and Traders Association (ISAMATA), Emmanuel Ezeanochie.
This was disclosed by the Command’s Spokesperson, Supol Henry Okoye in a release to the press. He said their arrest was in connection with the alleged use of government power and authority to defraud unsuspecting citizens, Malicious damage, harras, intimidate and frustrate the Citizens of Imo State.
The release reads, “Distinguished Gentlemen of the Press be informed that the former Governor Aid, Chinasa Nwaneri, ISAMATA President and three others were arrested over an allegation of Malicious Damage, Fraudulent Activities, Obtaining Money Under False Pretence and Illegal Use of Government Power/Authority to Harass, Intimidate and Frustrate the Citizens of Imo State”.

“Investigation is ongoing further development will be communicated in due course”.
Meanwhile, there has been a wild Jubilation in the State over the arrest of the self acclaimed political demigod in the State
