Council polls: Oru East “ll enjoy my administration as Executive chairman -Obioha

A Frontline Chairmanship Aspirant in Oru East Local government Area of Imo State, Sir Chidi Obioha has stated that his people would enjoy his government as the Executive chairman of the council.

Obioha who made this assertion during the All Progressives Congress, APC stakeholders meeting on Friday, 12th July, 2024 at the party secretariat along Okigwe road, Owerri while fielding questions from Journalists who cornered him to know why he is running for the election.

The party during the said stakeholders meeting pegged its Chairmanship and Councillorship primary election nominations forms at 3m and 1m respectively.

Continuing, Obioha noted that the forthcoming election is not like a “kid stuff”
According to him, we are going for Executive power position as you can see, it’s not a child’s play, you have to know what it takes to be a leader. One should have all it takes to defend him or herself both locally and internationally.

He pledged his commitment to revolutionize grassroots development as more importantly in Agriculture.
He said: “as an Executive Chairman, you must help your people to get to where they want to, like in the area of Education, Agriculture and Sports.

“All these require someone with a capacity to do that, especially, my local government which is the local government of the Governor, one ought to have capability and aptitude for competence”
