As the Imo Local government election draws closer, investigations have revealed why the people of Nkwerre want Nze Nicholas Onyebuchi Mbachu, Enyioha, an Aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congres, APC.

Daily Star News online reliably gathered that since the creation of Nkwerre Local government, no son or daughter of Amaokpara Community has ever been elected as the Executive chairman of the Council.

According to the source, since Nze Mbachu comes from Amaokpara Community and an acceptable candidate, it is the time to give him the opportunity to lead the Council in the 21st September Local government election.

Recently, Hon. Nicholas Onyebuchi Mbachu who holds a title of Enyioha Nkwerre was received at the Multi billion naira Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential library Complex, Abeokuta, Ogun State by the Ex-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo who happens to be a long time friend of his (Enyioha) father in their days in the Military.

Other qualities that make Enyioha tick is his philanthropic disposition. He is a man of the people and loved by all and Sundary.

His support by Nkwerre APC leaders and Stakeholders and also the tilted men (Nze na Ozo) is a testament to the fact that he will win the forthcoming Primary election of the APC.

Enyioha who received a Royal blessing from his traditional ruler, HRH Eze Michael Akpaka, the Okwaraoha (IV) of Amaokpara Autonomous community in Nkwerre LGA expressed satisfaction to the Monarch.

In his blessings, Eze Michael Okpaka noted that Amaokpara is blessed to have Chief Onyebuchi Nicholas Mbachu as a son, adding that he would be a blessing to the community and entire Nkwerre local government.
He said: “I have known him for years, he is a man of enamours capacity. He is a dogged fighter and I have the confidence that he will get it and do us proud.
“God has started doing marvelous things for Amaokpara, we are progressives.

“Since Nkwerre existed, it looked as if Amaokpara has nobody but today we have a man with the wherewithal, so I urge us to give him maximum support in his aspiration. We shall continue to speak with one mind. The gods of the land is with him,” he prayed.
