Council Polls: Onuimo APC Candidate Promises all inclusiveness upon victory

The chairmanship candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for Onuimo LGA, Dr. Emeka Obi, has assured that his Government would extend across the board if voted into office as the Executive chairman of the Local government Council.

Obi who stated this on Monday 16th September, 2024 at the party Secretariat while interacting with some Journalists called the people to vote for APC all through.

Recall that the leadership of APC summoned a Stakeholders meeting which invited other leaders, including the Chairmanship and Councillorship Aspirants from the 27 LGAs in the State.

Speaking further, the former Sole Administrator (SOLAD) of the Local government declared his readiness to win the Saturday, 21st September Imo State Local Government Council Elections in the area, adding that his administration would bring total transformation to the LGA.

He also hinted that the people of Onuimo have tested his person in several leadership positions and trusted his capacity to lead the local government which according to him demonstrated in electing as the candidate.

According to him, I have all the factors needed for victory at the polls. As we speak, the popularity is on my side, my tested and trusted leadership qualities as well as the unprecedented achievements of His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodimma in the state.

He said: “you know that APC is a party to beat in Imo State, the Governor has done marvellously well in the area of Infrastructural development, Health care delivery, Educational system, Security and other aspects of Governance” I am very confident of victory come September Saturday 21st Local Government elections.”

Other leaders and Stakeholders who attended the meeting included the deputy governor, Lady Chinyere Ekomaru, the Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chike Olemgbe, Chief of Staff, Barrister Nnamdi Anyaehie and Barrister Enyinanya Onuegbu, the Chief Political Adviser and Head among others.
