Chima Amadi Joins Nigerians to Mourn Iwuanyanwu…says he lived fulfilled life

As Nigerians all over the World Mourn the exit of a Colossus and Philanthropist par Excellence, Late Chief Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu,Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo, a business Mogul cum Politician Dr. Chima Amadi was in tune with the grief.

The President of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Worldwide who was Committed to mother earth at his Compound, Umuohii Atta Ikuduru Local government Area of Imo State after a funeral Service at the St. Matthew Cathedral.

Speaking with Newsmen at his (Iwuanyanwu’s) Compound, the illustrious son of Ngor-Okpala described the President of Ohanaeze Worldwide as a man of many good parts who had touched lives meaningfully.

According to him, Iwuanyanwu was lover of humanity and a man who lived a fulfilled life, contributed in no small measure to the growth, progress and advancement of Imo State in particular and South East in general.

Amadi added that the late Igbo leader had empowered many and made inroads in commerce, industry, aviation, journalism, sports, real estate, among others, saying his impact to humanity and society is a big legacy.

“We greatly missed Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, a pragmatic politician, a prominent figure in Igbo land. He lived a fulfilled life and helped many to grow financially. I have been having discussions with him on future development of Imo State and how to affect the people positively before his glorious demise, which was regrettably annoying.

“And he will in spirit continue to thrive the affairs of the state. I pray for the repose of his soul and urge his family to bear his loss with fortitude”, Amadi added.

He further recalled that the Ahaejiagamba of Igboland was a shinning light and a nationalist who used his position to impact lives and contribute to national development.

Amadi attended the funeral in company of Hon. Attorney Matthew Nwaogu (Member who represents Aboh Mbaise and Ngor-Okpala Federal Constituency in the House of Reps), Hon. Blyden Amajuruonwu (former Member who represented Ngor-Okpala State Constituency in Imo Assembly) and Hon. Brown Njoku (former Member who represented lhitte-Uboma State Constituency in Imo Assembly).

Earlier during the homily, the Prelate of Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba, described Iwuanyanwu as a courageous leader who had always spoken out in defense of Ndigbo, urged the family to remain united as it’s the only way to preserve the legacies of their late father.

The cleric further reminded those in leadership positions that responsibility requires accountability.

Meanwhile, it was a roll call of who is who in the country at the funeral service as dignitaries from across the country and political divides were in attendance.

Some of the dignitaries were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume who represented President Tinubu; 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi; National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje; and former Senate President, Senator Adolphus Wabara.
