THASEF enjoins Nigerians to observe World Water day

An Organization saddle with the responsibility to maintain a total well-being of an Individual, “The Healthy and Sanitized Environment Foundation” (THASEF) has encouraged Nigerians to observe this year’s water day celebration.

The World Water Day is held annually on 22 March which aims to raise awareness about the importance of water and promote sustainable management of this vital resources.
Acknowledging this important reserve will inspire people to take action to conserve water, reduce waste, and protect water sources
The highpoint of the event is the need for universal access to clean water, Sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) facilities which aligns with the activities of THASEF Nationwide.
Concurrently, the United Nation’s ‘Sustainable Development Goals’ (SDGs) collaborate to ensure availability and Sustainable management of water for all

In view of the above, THASEF is partnering with different Organizations to take actions to tackle the global water crisis, in support of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) on water and sanitation for all by 2030.
This 2025 World Water Day which focuses on glacier preservation. Thereupon, UNESCO and the World Meteorological Organization are the UN lead agencies for the celebration glaciers serve as natural freshwater reservoirs, releasing meltwater that supports drinking water supplies, agriculture, industry, and healthy ecosystems.
They provide essential benefits such as climate regulation and protection from natural hazards.

Preserving glaciers is vital for the well-being of individuals and communities worldwide. Through the implementation of sustainable glacier management and monitoring practices, humanity can protect these frozen reservoirs that still hold approximately 70% of Earth’s freshwater.
Implementing sustainable management practices and fostering international scientific cooperation are vital steps in preserving these critical water sources, ensuring long-term prosperity and promoting global peace.
THASEF is calling on Individuals, Communities, and Organizations to work together to address the global water crisis and promote sustainability. This will help to make difference in the future water resources.
